Hayden-Harnett Upgrades

You may have noticed some changes to the Hayden-Harnett website. We are making many changes in the coming days as we introduce our new Fall/Winter 2009 collection that we hope will greatly improve your experience using our site. Some changes are cosmetic, others involve the interface, and some you will never see, except that they will help the site to load and display faster.

Here are some recent changes to the item display I wanted to highlight:

Social Links We've created links Tweet This! and on item pages so you can share the items you're viewing with your friends on Twitter and Facebook. Of course you can always find us at @hayden_harnett on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook.

More Images Now we can post even more images for each style on the item page. Under the main image, the views now scroll to encompass as many different images as we can upload. You can see it in action on our page for the Kristy Trench in Black.

Customer Comments We added the customer comments icon to emphasize the customer discussions. Since we launched the customer comments section we've received over a thousand thoughtful and helpful comments, and we're proud that this is working so well, and want to encourage more comments on our item pages. The purpose of the comments section is to help other customers learn about the products, how they look, how they fit, and how they feel from people who have purchased them. Comments that are not germane to this purpose, disrespectful or profane comments, and comments that are plainly spam will be removed.

Feel free to comment here about changes that have been made, changes you'd like to see, and anything you think might help us as we update our site.

I am so disappointed that you will not have the shoes that were in the PDF lookbook version. My coworkers and I were drooling over them (biblio wedge in particular) as well as the color updates on the spring styles. Why aren't you producing any. I mean they are more practical than leather vests or shorts. I know HH is artwork but statistics show that women are more likely to splurge on comfy shoes than almost any other item. And 3 of my coworkers including myself think your shoes are better than frye and frye is made in Italy!! *sigh* pretty please make some foot fashions for us. :)

I don't see the recent issue of Women's Health in your Press section... is that an Olive Lorca with tassel? Around p. 52??

Really dislike the new product scroll on your website - it's so slow! Takes forever to get to the item I want to see. Please go back to displaying a full page of product.

Hi HH! First, can I tell you how much I love your style? However, I feel the new web design is a bit cumbersome. It isn't as easy to scroll through the products, leading to much frustration and hair-pulling:) Kudos to you for keeping things fresh, but perhaps it would be a good idea to go back to the drawing board?
