You know when you're like 8 and it's Christmas Eve or your birthday and you seriously canNOT wait to wake up at like 5 a.m. to totally annoy everyone (that's kind of a byproduct) and rush to the one thing you asked for that you completely know you got because if not your parents will feel your wrath? That's sort of how I felt when I was asked to do the 7 day style challenge for my favorite handbag line, Hayden-Harnett. And though I was supposed to start today, I just couldn't help breaking out my new Syrena Fringe bag last night for a back yard (NYC style) BBQ.
My name is Samantha House and I have a jewelry company called Samantha House Jewelry. I used to be a fashion editor and before that a makeup artist. So it's fair to say that I love anything stylish. I think it's in my blood. And I'm madly in love with anything Hayden-Harnett. I know they have a cult following but I honestly think I'm their biggest fan. I'm especially swoon-y about the collections they do for Disney Signature. The Syrena Fringe was inspired by the new Pirates of the Carribean. It has the prettiest fringe at the bottom that extends to the back so it doesn't get all weird when you store it (like you'll ever store it!) and the hardware is a subtle brushed metal with loads of chain hanging down in a beautiful cluster from the top. My favorite part is the fact that the chain strap can be doubled up to hang high or left loose to hang low or across your chest. That's right- It's all kinds of practical AND stunning! With it I wore my DVF maxi dress and my Toni necklace in blue from my own line...and it was a huge hit. Thanks HH. <3
